These all pertain to states of consciousness, planes or being, and states of substance or matter as well as forces, qualities of light, etc.

The three Buddhic Robes, (they can also be called), or the “Three Grand Degrees of Initiation”. (9-462)

I – The glory of all the names of the Mysteries and of all the Projection s of the Orders of the Spaces of the Ineffable

II – The Glory of all the Names of the Mysteries and of all the Projection s of the Orders of the two Spaces of the First Mystery

III – The Glory of all the Names from that of the Mystery, the Revealer, which is called the First Percept downwards to them of the Firmament.

 

We are also told in page 1, and elsewhere more elaborately, that the First Mystery surrounds or comprehends

            The First Precept (the first mystery)

            The 5 Impressions (types or rudiments) “Ideas”

            The Great Light of Lights (vehicle of precept)

            The 5 Supporters (reflections of the 5 impressions)

Rays of this Light of the Treasure of Light reach down to the World of Men, for they are the Intelligences, or Light Powers, of all the planes below the Treasure, down to the terrestrial.

These correspond to the five subtle and five gross Elements, which together with the two unmanifested elements make up 12.  (Akasa, vayu, tejas, jala, prithivi, corresponding to sound, touch, heated matter, fire or light, liquid or water or taste, earth or smell.)  These are the five rudiments, followed by the five elements.

We should also give consideration to the psychic, spiritual, and divine prototypes (which are of a nature that can not be described in words she says).

                        Chapter 11 (127 and 129)

Pertaining to the series of 12, 7, 5 and 3 Mysteries, and the synthetic One and Only Mystery. The key will be found in TBL.  “When an adept succeeds in uniting all his principles into one he is Jivanmukta, (one emancipated from birth), he is no more of this earth virtually and becomes a Nirvanee who can go into samadhi (i.e. attain to spiritual states of consciousness) at will. Adepts are generally classed by the number of principles they have under their perfect control, for that which we call will has its seat in the higher Ego, and the latter, when it is rid of its sin laden personality is divine and pure”

 

Pertaining to the Quaternion, (the higher personal consciousness at one with the divine triad Atma,

Buddhi-Manas, forming the Supernal Tetraktys)

 

Pistis Sophia, with page 181 of the Coptic codex, we come to the conclusion of the incident of the repentant Sophia. The 139 pages which deal with the subject demand the closest attention of the student of Esotericism, for not only have we here a history of the pilgrimage of the Soul, but also a description of the degrees of initiation which correspond both to the natural degrees or states of consciousness, and to the cycles of human evolution.

We will now endeavor to review this pilgrimage of Pistis Sophia following the path of her transgression or desire for light through her 13 repentances or Changes of Mind, (Meta noiae, changes of the Nous or Manas) until her restoration to the Thirteenth Aeon, her proper place region or plane.

To attain to the knowledge or Light, or the Logos, the soul has to descend into Matter or Hyle. Hence Pistis Sophia, desiring the Light, descends towards its Reflection from the Thirteenth Aeon, through the twelve Aeons, into the depths of Chaos, where she is in danger of entirely losing all her own innate Light or Spirit, of which she is continually deprived by the Powers of Matter.  … Her chief enemy who, with his false light, has drawn her down into Chaos, is … the power with the appearance of a Lion, the Kama principle the false light in Chaos which is assisted by the 24 Hylic or material Projections, or Emanations, the reflections of the 24 Supernal Projections, the co partners of Pistis Sophia, 48 in all which together with that power or aspect from which the whole may at any time be viewed, make 49. (7-293)

 

… It was the name of the highest degree of their initiation in which the Adept became a perfect Pneumatic or Illuminatus, a son of Immortality. 1- 317

318 – when we consider that esoterically there are seven aspects of the Sophia (the seven planes of wisdom)

I – 233 it is hardly necessary to point out that Jesus and Christ are distinct entities, in fact as we shall see later on there are no less than three Christs in the Gnostic Scheme.   Esoteric students will at once perceive that from the Microcosmic standpoint, Jesus is the Lower Manas, the ray from the Higher Manas, even as from the Macrocosmic standpoint it corresponds to Manas, the ray from Mahat, the Divine Mind. Jesus is not Christos, just as the Personality is not the Individuality.

 

3 – 495   it will be noticed in the note on page 231 the first and last of the female Aeons of the Dodecad, are respectively Pistis and Sophia. The soul was the one subject and the knowledge of the soul the one object of all the ancient Mysteries.  In the fall of Pistis Sophia and her rescue by her Syzygy, Jesus, we see the ever enacted drama of the suffering and ignorant personality, which can only be save by the immortal Individuality or rather by its own yearning towards it. In reading this portion of the Pistis Sophia the mysterious duality of the manas should always be remembered, and this key applied to every line.

As wisdom was the end of the Gnosis so the pivot of the whole Gnostic teaching was the sol called Sophia Mythus, for whether we interpret the allegory form the macro or from the micro cosmic standpoint, it is always the evolution of Mind, that the initiates of old have sought to teach us.

496 the Mind was to instruct the Mind; self-analyzing reflection was to be the way. The material mind, kama manas was to be purified ands o become one with the spiritual mind, Buddhi Manas.

 

4 – 42, The Great Mystery of Salvation. This great mystery is the Mystery of the Ineffable (Atma) or First Mystery, the Supreme Wisdom (Buddhi) from which all emanations proceed. It emanates from the Ineffable and is like unto it, being at the same time the Supreme Principle of the Forgiveness of Sins.

 

4 -43 from the comparison of such passages we are led to conclude that the triumphant ascension of Jesus as the perfected Initiate, and the dramatic narrative of the repentant Sophia, are but two aspects of one and the same thing regarded, firstly from the point of view of the Individuality and secondly from that of the Personality.

 

5-145 the self willed one is the root of the kama principle, or principle of desire, and its projections are of the same nature as the mysterious Tanhas of the Buddhist philosophy. The reflection of Manas alone of the invisibles gravitates to kama and so becomes the Lower Manas.

The Valentinus system includes (I-230)

The Father or Ungenerated, without space, time, counselor, or any other essence or attribute capable of being conceived. Solitary, alone, and at rest itself in itself, with the power of emanating.

Emanated Mind and Truth, the Duad, the Parentless, which is the beginning and Mother of all the Aeons in the Pleroma.

 

 Mind and Truth then emanated The 10 Roots Of All Things Which Are, the Decad, (type of 10)

They gave rise to:

The Ten Aeons, as syzygy’s; Bythius and Mixis or Mingling, Unaging and Union or Oneness, Self existent and Bliss, Immovable and Mixing, Only begotten and Blessedness

Mind and Truth emanated Logos and Life

Logos and Life emanated Man and the Assembly (Church)

Logos and Life give rise to the 12 or Dodecad Aeons. (The highest type of 12)

 

These 6 + 10 +12 = 28. The Youngest of the 28 is SOPHIA. Sophia, wanting to be like the FATHER also wanted to generate without a Syzygy. Trying to Imitate the Father she generated a formless and uninformed essence. This she did in her ignorance of understanding. (Without the spark of the immortal mind?) … In Pity of the abomination, the FATHER ordered an additional emanation from the Aeons Mind and Truth, which in turn emanated The Christos and Holy Spirit for the informing and differentiation of the Abortion and for the consolation and appeasing of he complaints of Sophia. So that together with the Christos and the Holy Spirit there are 30 Aeons. … Christos and the Holy Spirit, in order that the Abortion, which was formless and mindless, should not cause confusion in the Aeons, “immediately separated this formless Abortion of Sophia, which was generated by her alone without her Syzygy, from the Universal Aeons. … The FATHER then emanated an additional AEON, the STAURUS cross or Stock, which became the Horus or BOUNDARY OF THE PLEROMA (COMPLETION) having within itself all the thirty Aeons together. The above is the creation of God (Eternal and Divine Forces leading to), Mind or Mahat.

            In all considerations, (I-233) “the whole Pleroma is a unity to those below).

Parkletus or advocate or comforter and PISTIS or Faith or Confidence. Father like and Hope, Mother like and Love or Charity, Everlasting or Everflowing and Understanding, Ekklesia like and Happiness, The longed for or Desired and Wisdom (see sephiroth)

The 28 + 2 = 30 AEONS in the Pleroma.

 

“Sophia that form which the soulish and material foundation (creation) was constituted. And Sophia is called Spirit, the Demiurge the head of he creative forces (it is Ildabaoth the son of Sophia, the child of chaos, the material essence with remedial intelligence as the head of the creative forces or Chief, and also “the representative of one of the classes of Pistis” 3-497 … “if we regard Sophia above as the Akasa and the Sophia below – achamoth – as its lower or material planes, we shall be able to understand why Ildabaoth, the material creator was identified with Jehovah and Saturn, and so follow out the following allegory  … Ildabaoth generated a son, the he another etc. until six sons were generated one from another … and through the “battles” of Ildabaoth with his sons, out of rage … he gazed into the purgation’s of matter below and through them begot another son, OPHIOMORPHOS, the serpent formed, the spirit of all that is basest in matter … ), Soul; Diabolus, the Ruler of this world; and Beelzebub the ruler of the Daemons” (the essence of the daemons which are bred of doubt, incapacity or distress. And Sophia energizing from above, form the Ogdoad unto the Hebdomad. The demiurge, they said knows nothing at all, but is mindless and foolish, and knows not what he does or operates.  It is Sophia who operates and strengthens all. And when she does so, HE imagines that he is making the foundation of the world himself. Wherefore he began to say, I am God and besides me there is no other.

 

 

                        Acquainting ourselves with the language of the Pistis

            To begin, we must realize that the characters of our drama contain the 12 disciples, the Two Mary’s, Marha, and Jesus. These, upon study, are reflections of the higher powers revealed throughout the story on the different Planes of being and in the differing States of consciousness and which are represented in the hierarchical contents of twelve’s, three’s, two’s and One’s.  By this we are constantly reminded that the higher powers and laws of the universe are inherently embodied and played out on every level of being, even in humanity and the kingdoms of life below, as well as above. Thus the numerical mystery is replayed on every plane, just as the 7 principles of theosophy are contained each on every plane and in every manifestation only differing in degrees of awakened power, intelligence, potential, and being.

 

            Also, depending on our application and approach, the disciples may represent the human personality and its emotional, cognitive, and aspirational qualities, the zodiacal aspects of and in man, or even aspects of the 12 components of 5 senses, 5 organs of action, manas and higher manas, or any combination which might include the higher triad.  The Mary’s (The two Mary’s) and Martha, and represent the higher triad “in human form, limited by such with its spiritual vision and understanding”. (This differs in regards to its “freed form”). Jesus then may represent the “freed and purified astral ego”, (having conquered in turn, the particular planes, and returning to teach, depending upon the plane reached and assimilated), or a true teacher, adept or Master depending on application.

 

            As we also see in the text, “Jesus” is able to recognize his “Father” or source, and also come to an awareness of the Hierarchical Monad, which is the Chief of his chain, or guru parampara chain, and through it, even unto the One and Only. Such is of the Highest Initiations, as HPB tells us in the secret doctrine, when one comes “face to face” with one’s “God”. Thus, for the higher Mysteries, even “Jesus” is instructed.  This is represented in his putting on the “Robes” with the “Five Names” or powers, as contained in the “three Buddhic Robes” as HPB tells us, with their knowledge wisdoms and powers. It is also reflected in the constant saying of Jesus, that it has not as yet been ordained by the First Mystery that Sophia should be brought unto the Heights, or Treasury of Light, in and through which the being begins his or her initiation on the inner planes of Manas through Atma.

 

            Another important consideration in studying the Pistis pertains to the states of consciousness and the Planes of being and becoming. The principles/planes/hierarchies of the lower four planes, states of consciousness, states of the Perceiver, Forces, etc. as represented by HPB in Pistis are as follow: (see chart)

The lowest plane, equivalent to the physical contains the firmament, the world, and the underworld of Orcus, chaos, outer darkness, and caligo externa. These latter are inclusive of the Kama lokic or negative subjective and after death states.

The plane of the astral comprises the 12 Aeons, the Fate, and the Sphere.

The plane of the psychic or etheric contains the Regions of the Right, Midst, Left or 13th Aeon. This is the plane wherein the Lumen or Ray ego, becomes mixed with subtle matter regarding incarnation.

The fourth plane, considered to be spiritual in this classification, and hence may be considered as “lower spiritual” analogous to that of Kama (perhaps extremely purified) is that of the Treasury of Light or the Pleroma. (Throughout this story as HPB indicates, we must ever be on the alert for blinds, and misleading) It is the height of the fourth plane, which HPB tells us in SD, that it is the place of the Archetypal, as first model or outline of things to be. It is important to realized that she also tells us that this is a plane of “Light”, unmixed with Hyle or psychic matter, hence must be of a pure and subtle type. This plane is then that of the incarnating ray (in one of its applications) Before “mixing” with the astral matter. It is the ray “re-become one with the child state of the voice, once the proper process has been completed.

The planes pertaining to the 5th through 7th, at this point in evolution, or the initiate’s journey are considered “the three higher planes being inaccessible to human intellect as developed at present. Yet she goes on to explain or represent the contents of these inner planes as the story unfolds, and as depicted in the Gnostic text itself. (For those who have gone beyond “human intellect as developed at present”)

 

From the handout, we can gain a meek appreciation of the representative contents of these inner and higher planes as given us by HPB, what they are, what forces, intelligences, powers, states of consciousness, vehicles, etc. can be correlated with and represented by them. To facilitate this process she makes constant correlations to the equivalent planes and entities in the secret doctrine and Transactions of the Blavatsky Lodge. This should be a constant source and reference for us during our study of this journey. Relating the planes and principles of theosophy to the Gnostic divisions, using as a guide the table on page 157 of volume one of the secret doctrine, it becomes easier to understand the relations of the powers and entities spoken of, as well as the excursions into the Heights beyond the Treasury of Light or Pleroma.

 

Without going then into the direct meanings and applications of the names and titles as given in Pistis, we will name a few of the characters with whom the student of esoteric study should properly acquaint his or her understanding. For, (as if Pistis is not challenging enough), without some comprehension of these terms, meanings and the various changing applications (one name and thing, like some of our words, can take on different meanings in differing contexts) and planes to which they belong, we will be hopelessly confused, perhaps throwing down the text, writing it off as a farce and deception, if not a creation of some deluded fancy.

 

Considering the saying as above so below, HPB tells us that just as the seven principles and planes as represented in theosophical literature contain each a seven fold division, so in this system, with care, we should be able to see the whole division of all the planes within each plane. Keeping in mind that this system, in its grosses sense, seems to be based on the numerical system of 12 or the Dodecad, or decahedron as relates to geometrical form, and forces of formaton.

Thus some of the names and denizens of the planes and states of consciousness which we encounter during our journey in the Pistis Sophia include Names, Sounds, Vibrations, Impressions, motions, angels, Aeons, archangels, Saviors, Supporters, Rulers, Virgin and Virgins, Guardians, rulers and veils of Aeons, repentant rulers, Gods, Lords, Authorities, Tyrants, Powers, Sparks, Light-givers, Unpaired, Invisibles, Forefathers, and Triple Powers, Pure ones, deacons, and decans, elementals, skandhas, on down into the manifestations of the elements which make up the humanly known cognitive, desire-ful, emotional, and sensual experiences of life, as well as the general kingdoms and their lives.

 

HPB tells us in Transactions and the Secret Doctrine that all these entities represent the different stages of theDivine and Eternal Ideations in Divine Mind, the Paradigms and Prototypes of all things to be, the Archetypes, the hierarchies, the Logoi giving rise to the hierarchies, Powers, Forces, motions, vibrations, intelligences, Dhyhan Chohans, pitris (solar and lunar), substances mulaprakriti onwards, laya centers, manifestations of substance and spirit or motion as particles, elementals, and elements, the forms generated from the sidereal spaces or cosmic manifestation, the subjective states of consciousness and the associated contents or entities, and on and on.

 

For our understanding and application, we must also consider that the numerical scheme is one of purpose, and that the number 12, which is repeated throughout, and in many ways – 6x2, 5x2 +2, 4x3 or 3x4, 5+5+2, 1+2 or monad + duad plus 10, - are all representative of various applications related to keys or modes of understanding, based upon the application of certain principles or qualities at certain points in the story.

 

Birth, the evolution of the globe, man and races, death and dying, the intermediate and after-death states, the initiation and the full awakening of the total potentiality of the monadic wisdom accessible to the personal consciousness of man, the states of waking, dreaming, deep sleep, and beyond, are all so many points of application alluded to and explained in Pistis Sophia. Not so much as “chapters of discussion”, but alluded and referred to as states, processes, planes, etc. encountered and experienced by Pistis Sophia during this mystery story of Repentance and initiation. A full examination of these topics is beyond this brief paper and presentation this evening, but perhaps at a later date a more thorough application might be attempted.

 

As we become more familiar then with the terms and their inner meanings, we will inevitably come to a more profound understanding of the states of conscious, planes, lives, impressions, elementals, daemons, energies, intelligences, forces, forms, sheaths, powers, Divine Intelligences, Ideations, Substances and more, revealed in the Pistis Sophia.

 

 

 

                        The Story of the Pistis Sophia

The story of Pistis Sophia is the story of the journey of every soul in existence, from and to the Primary condition of awareness and awakening possible for the totality of a Manvantaric cycle. As Madame Blavatsky tells us in the Secret Doctrine speaking of the eternal Monad, (Vol. I – 183) “ … Its, the atoms, involution and evolution, its external and internal growth and development, have all one and the same object – man; man, as the highest physical and ultimate form on this earth; the MONAD, in its absolute totality and awakened condition – as the culmination of the divine incarnations on Earth”.

            With this goal in mind, the journey of Pistis, from her natural abode in the 13th Aeon (Not the highest ground, but a lower ground of separation from the Reincarnating Ego, as the “Pure incarnating Ray”), begins with her entering into the domain of the matter of the fourth plane, (the Spiritual EGO residing in the Fifth) clothing itself with the highest aspects of the “Astral Light”, and its successive degrees of manifestation, until it becomes embodied in flesh and blood. The characters in Pistis Sophia that we encounter at this level and the descent comprise the Self Willed One, the great kamic power “in the appearance of a Lion”, the 12 aeons, as the zodiac, the lunar pitri, and host of daemons and elementals which are the servants of the karmic Samskaras embedded in the Mental field of the reincarnating being and its ray.

            Pistis Sophia must descend into matter, and re-ascend in its awakened capacity, having purified itself, and if an initiate, having learnt and conquered the gnosis and powers of the lower planes which related to the temporal and mortal. As an initiate on the spiritual path of evolutionary development, initiation, or the like, he or she must continue to ascend into the higher triadic planes, after conquering the lower and placing ones “foot on the head of the Serpent”, in order to assimilate and master the Great Wisdoms of life, cosmos, being, death, immortality, and True Service. This is the journey symbolized in the Great Symbol d similar to that of the infinite. Keeping in mind the diagram on page 200 of secret doctrine book one, we begin our descent from the fourth plane “incarnation”, descend to the bottom, arise to the fifth, going inwards to the seventh, and returning, we live to teach and serve. As HPB again states; the journey is in short like the shape of a partially closed S, which shows the path of the journey into and beyond the influence of matter.

“It is at this point (The return of Pistis to the 13th Aeon and onward) that the Cosmic Monad (Buddhi) will be wedded to and become the vehicle of the Atmic Ray, i.e. it (Buddhi) will awaken to an apperception of it (Atman); and thus enter on the first step of a new septenary ladder of evolution, which will lead it eventually to the tenth (counting form the lowest upwards) of he Sephirothal tree, the Crown”. (I 177)

For as HPB tells us, this is the Jivanmukta, the accomplished initiate, for the great cycle. This portion of the journey is alluded to in the Pistis Sophia as we shall see, as the “Great Stream of Light” which results from the Light of the First Mystery mixing with that of “Jesus”, and Pistis, to become the “halo”, alive and living in her throughout the remainder of her journey.

 

Thus having a general understanding of the journey, we can begin to understand the story of Pistis. It begins when she, wanting to be very much like the “Father”, seeks out the Light and wisdom of the Upper Inner Logos from the Height or planes in and beyond that of the Treasury of Light. However, the “light” which she sees, and decides to follow is the false Light, that of manifestation and incarnation. This is the reflected light of the Higher Lights and Spheres. But since she is unable to discern the difference, having not yet developed “Spiritual Discrimination” or the power and light of Buddhi, she begins her descent, and in the process awakens the “jealous” powers, forces, lower spiritual, psychic and physical abilities, kamic properties, skandhas, elementals and lives, inherent in “matter”. These are the powers she must face, assimilate and defeat in the glorious battle that all Nature’s Fortunate Soldiers get to fight.

 

How many ways can we understand the story of Pistis? Like the Gita (As HPB tells us, we should read the Pistis in the light of the Gita and anugita, and we might add, that of the voice of the silence and Patanjali’s yoga aphorisms.) it has many applications. First is that of incarnation of the soul, in the body of flesh, the low point (per the diagram on page 200) being the birth into the world of man. The descent of the soul is actually the process wherein, according to the Samskaras or mental deposits in the Reincarnating Ego, or the Manasic being, the lives of the cosmos are taken in and used to generate the “karmic” sheaths, principles or bodies that we use in life, each being acquired according to one’s past actions. In other words, the lower manasic ray descends through the planes of desire clothing itself and acquiring the karmic lives forming the Kama manas, then through that of life or prana, the energies pervading our sheaths and vehicles, then the formation of the astral and finally the physical body. As we see from the diagram of page 200, and comparing and correlating with the arrangements in Pistis, we descend from the 13th Aeon, (the domain of the Psychic/etheric) down through the regions of the 12 Aeons (the sidereal and astral. We should also consider the powers of the zodiac, houses, decans, degrees, constellations etc. their influences and characteristics, and Real Astrology or the clothing of the Monad with the Stellar Influences according to karma), arranging and forming the lives according to “fate” or karmic design, entering into and being bound by the particular cycles, and literally, spheres or states of matter of our karmic being, entering into the firmament or higher / lower astral proper and being born in the world of man. Even here, having our associations in family, friends, events, and circumstances of life that we meet upon our journey.

 

The ascend through the four planes can be representative of living life in the world, moving through the after death states to reach the state of devachan, the degrees of initiation related to the lower truths and laws, or our movement through the stages and states of sleep, as well as the general evolutionary movement of the monad through the rounds and races of life.

                        The battle of the chaos for the light of Atma Buddhi, or Atma Buddhi for the purification of the light and lives in matter.

                        The battle of purification, assimilation, and transcendence of the Principles of the Initiate

                        The passage through the after death States and the gestation battle of the lower manas

 

                        The actual Repentances of Pistis Sophia in her Journey in Matter and its attempt to extinguish her spiritual light arising in and from the higher immortal triad.

Save me through thy mysteries, hear me

May the power of thy light save and lift me to the higher Aeons

Save me from the lion faced power and hands of the self willed one

I have faith in thee, in thy light, from the time it emanated me, thou thyself

Despite the mocking of the Aeons, thou art my savior deliverer and light

All the emanations of the self willed have surrounded me and desire to take away my whole light and power

Having lost her light and power, that of the personal, she leans on the light,

Thou art my savior and deliverer o light, save me quickly out of this chaos

 

4th

Light, give ear to my repentance, hear my voice in thy dwelling place

My light and I are being consumed by the self-willed and emanations, I am vanishing and becoming matter.

I have FORGOTTEN MY MYSTERY (fully in matter, fourth round) and my duty to accomplish.

This is a greater descent into matter.

Being overcome by fear, the passions of the self willed and losing ALL Power.

Becoming a “demon apart” that dwelled in matter without light.

I am becoming as a counterfeiting spirit or fully of the astral and material body

I am becoming as a decan in the air, driven by elementals.

Thy commandment o light has brought me down and I am descended as a power in the chaos, devoid of light.

“ And then at that time shall all the rulers of the material Aeons be in fear of thy light, and all the emanations of the 13th material aeon shall be in fear of he mystery of thy light so that the others may put on the purification of their light.

5th

And Jesus reported that the command had not come from the first mystery to lead her out of the chaos and save her.

She sang (vibe) the hymns to Jesus

She has become as the matter of the chaos, a material body, unsaved and condemned

Thy spirit has withdrawn and abandoned me

The emanations of my own aeon have abandoned me.

The terrors, which thou have decreed for me, have brought me into delusion.

Surrounded by water or penetrated and consumed by the astral influences of delusion, nightmare and the like.

By thy commandment I am without help, without the influence of my pair, consumed by the powers of the chaos

6th

Trust in the light no matter what

In the light is compassion and deliverance and a great saving mystery

The soul waits upon the light for pardon and grace

And when Pistis Sophia had finished uttering the 6th repentance for the forgiveness of her transgressions or karma, that she turned to the height to see if her sins were forgiven, and to see if they would lead her up out of he chaos. But the commandment had not yet come from the First Mystery, and her sins were not forgiven (or karma balanced) and she is lead out of the chaos to the Heights.

 

7th repentance

The 12 Aeons and the rest continued to mock and torment Sophia.

And she continued to plea for forgiveness of her sins committed in ignorance in order to achieve the light and Height and inherit the Treasury of Light and its Mysteries.

Despite not having the commandment through the First Mystery, Jesus, to save her and led her up out of the chaos, out of compassion, led her into a spacious region in the chaos. Turning Point. And when the self willed and its material emanations noticed this, they ceased a little the oppression. For they thought she was being led out the chaos all together.

Sophia was not able to recognize it was “Jesus” of the Christos and believed it to be the light and continued to sing hymns and praises to it.

 

8th

And when the self willed powers, and lion faced power realized she was not being taken out of the chaos completely they set upon her again with the greatest of violence, passion, vehemence.

Without light, power, understanding, with only virtue, faith and persistence, patience, charity, morality, and perseverance could she continue.

She became powerless in the presence of all the rulers of he Aeons, who hate me, and the 24 emanations and in their regions.

AND ALL THE RULERS OF THE HEIGHTS HAVE COUNTED ME AS MATTER IN WHICH THERE IS NO LONGER ANY LIGHT. I am become as a material power fallen away from the light. I have become chaos in the eyes of the invisibles.

Buy still I trust in you o light. Thou art my savior. Trials and tribulations of soul less matter.

9th

Requesting that their power be taken away

That their power be consumed and transformed by the light of the height

That the lives be lifted up and their light or soul essence be grafted into or upon the spiritual principles or their respective degrees and levels.

I long for the 13th aeon, the region of Righteousness.

AND IN THE NINTH HOUR HER REPENTENCE WAS HEARD AND ACCEPTED BY THE FIRST MYSTERY AND JESUS WAS THEN SENT, ACCORDING TO THE MYSTERY (AB) TO HELP AND UPLIFT HER OUT OF THE CHAOS AND RESTORE HER LIGHT. Thus there are five more steps or repentance.

10th

This was because she had faith in the light and had endured great pains and great perils. (Of life, evolution and initiation)

She realized she was far off from her home and dwelling

That despite the evil being done to her, she gave only charity and words of peace.

Still Jesus was sent forth to help her SECRETLY.

And Jesus came into the chaos to help her. This is the descent of the light of the higher, but not yet that of Atma Buddhi.

This is the light shining in the darkness of the initiates heart and mind, first becoming visible and conscious. As the light, she recognized that I was a greater light that that of the lion faced, and self willed, and I was full of compassion.

With this, Pistis took courage and uttered the 10th repentance.

Giving thanks that she was heard, asking for forgiveness that she allowed herself to be deluded by the false lights.

 

11th

As a result of the way I was treated will the Light take their whole light, and their matter be lost

They will not have a place in the domain of immortality

And then perhaps the 24 emanations of the self willed and lion faced will see what has befallen you and change their ways, becoming obedient and purified.

And it came to be that as Jesus drew near the chaos to take away the power of the loin faced, that the self willed one, from the thirteenth aeon looked down and became exceedingly wrathful, and it and all its emanations surrounded Pistis. They desired to take away her whole entire light. That of manas and what influence of Atma Buddhi was in it. And she was in great fear of becoming truly soulless and of the eighth sphere.

12th

Pistis, with total fear, prayed that the height and light take the power and light from the self-willed and lion faced power that would consume her, and did torment her and seek to break her down.

She prayed that the light take his power and light

Let his light be taken and the other more spiritual of thru TRIPLE POWERS TAKE OR RECEIVE HIS SOVEREIGNTY.

May all the emanations of his powers be without light, as they have been taken and lifted up above. May the Receiver take and purify all the lights of the self-will and lion faced and take them above.

Let them dwell without light in the chaos and darkness.

May the self willed by wrapped in all his own karmic inequities and feel their retribution.

Pistis has uttered the 12 repentances for the 12 Aeons from which she has descended.

13th

She now utters the repentance for the 13th Aeon, her own home and region, from which she has descended, that her repentance may be accomplished.

Give unto me the baptism, and forgive my sins, purify me from my transgressions.

I alone, amongst the invisibles have transgressed, gone down into the chaos.

AND WITH THIS 13TH REPENTENCE, “THE TIME WAS FORFILLED THAT PISTIS SHOLD BE LED OUT OF HE CHAOS. And of myself, WITHOUT THE FIRST MYSTERY I dispatched OUT OF MYSELF a light power to lead Pistis from the deep regions of the chaos to the higher regions of the chaos, until the command should come from the First Mystery that she should be led entirely out of chaos.

And the powers and emanations of the self willed, noting the ascent of Pistis sped after her to drag her down into the lower regions of the chaos.

And the light power sent from Jesus became a light wreath upon her head so that the emanations of the self-willed could not have dominion over her.

And as a result, all the evil matter in her was purified, and the dross returned to the chaos.

And now “the light is with me and I myself am with the Light

And all the or my matter perish and be in the chaos, those which the emanations of the self willed see and rejoice over, YET SHALL I NOT PERISH, (as they, the matter, of the four lower planes, are not It).

And Jesus said to Mary, “thou also, Mary, hast received form which is in Barbelo (and from this power) according to matter, and hast received LIKENESS which is in the VIRGIN OF LIGHT, ACCORDING TO LIGHT.” Therefore are the material body, and the being of Light or Manas.

And when Pistis had completed the 13th repentance “in that hour was fulfilled the commandment of all the tribulations which were decreed for Pistis Sophia for the fulfillment of the First Mystery, which was from the beginning, and the time had come to save her out of the chaos and lead her out fro all the darkness. For her repentance was accepted from her through the First Mystery; and that Mystery sent me a great light power out of the Height, that I might help Pistis Sophia and lead her up out of the Chaos. And it was the light power from the height / Aeons, mixing with my light Power to become A GREAT STREAM OF LIGHT (Atma Buddhi Manas)

 

The completion of the initial journey and repentances through the lower four planes of being, with the assimilation, conquering of the powers, and the awakening of knowledge.

 

And so now begins the journey and inner awakening of the purified lower manas, into the domain of the higher and on towards the heights of the Buddhi and Atmic individuality, global, sidereal, cosmic, and great universal truths, laws and Mysteries beyond the domains of form, into those of the arupic or formless.

To all below it, the Treasury of Light is a unity; and its Orders, Projections, and company, in other words its Hierarchies, have but one influence. (8-375) But for the initiate, when the plane of consciousness or the Treasury is reached, or during the evolutionary process of humanity and cosmos, or the end of a round, or seven rounds, then further distinctions and wisdom is revealed.
