All of the quotes from Isis Unveiled are from Volume Two and are exact quotes except for explanatory words in parenthesis and deletions shown by three dots.
have listed the DVC statement first and then the quotation from Isis or two other books by Blavatsky: The Esoteric Character of the Gospels and her commentaries on the Gnostic Gospel known as Pistis-Sophia. There are an equal number of relevant quotes in the Secret Doctrine, but the subject of early Christianity is treated more systematically in Isis.
DVC p. 13 The Brotherhood has a great secret so powerful that its protection was the Brotherhood’s purpose. Silas sees the Brotherhood as “the enemies of God.”
Isis II (335) ...the primitive Christian community was composed of small groups scattered
about and organized in secrete societies, with passwords, grips, and signs...To avoid the relentless persecutions...
DVC p. 36 The pentacle is a pre-Christian star symbol related to nature worship and the female half of the world, otherwise known as the “sacred feminine” or the “divine goddess.”
Isis II (156) The Logos (the Word of John) emanated in its turn Phronesis, or the Intelligences (Divine-human spirits). From Phronesis sprung Sophia, or feminie wisdom, and Dynamis-strength. These were the personified attributes of the Mysterious godhead, the Gnostic quinternion, typifying the five spiritual, but intelligible substances...
DVC p. 37 The church launched a smear campaign against the pagan gods and goddesses and tried to erase the meaning of the old symbols.
Isis II(336) ...the Christians anthropomorphized the ‘Son of God’ and his “father,’ finding no better model for him than (Serapis) the idol of a Pagan myth!
DVC p. 45 Da Vinci was a worshiper of Nature’s divine order. He put hidden pagan symbols in his Christian paintings.
Isis II (38) The ancient Kabala, the Gnosis, or traditional secret knowledge, was never without its representatives in any age or country.
DVC p. 113 The Priory of Sion, based in France, is full of powerful members and is one of the oldest surviving secret societies on earth. (Most historians think the current priory is a recent invention and the list of masters is barely plausible.) Brown thinks it was a pagan goddess worship cult.
Isis II (403) But there are numbers of these mystic brotherhoods which have naught to do with“civilized” countries; and it is in their unknown communities that are concealed the skeletons of the past. These “adepts” could, if they chose, lay claim to strange ancestry, and exhibit verifiable documents that would explain many a mysterious page in both sacred and profane history.
DVC p. 125 The Inquisition tortured and killed witches, which included scholars, mystics and
nature lovers. Brown thinks five million died. (Most historians say 50,000.)
As a result, women were banished from temples and churches and sexuality was
suppressed. The world is out of balance.

DVC p. 231 Leonardo was referring to the church when he said, “Many have made a trade of delusions and false miracles, deceiving the stupid multitude . . . blinding ignorance does mislead us. Oh! Wretched mortals, open your eyes!” The Bible is a product of man, my dear. Not of God . . . It has evolved through countless translations, additions and revisions . . .
Isis II (37) “Everyone knows”...wrote Fauste (3rd Century)... ”that the gospels were written
neither by Jesus Christ, nor his apostles, but long after their time by some unknown persons...telling of things they had not seen themselves...”
Isis II ( 125) Later, it was inserted in the twenty-first chapter of John, but the whole of this chapter has been pronounced a forgery, even before it was found that this Gospel was never written by John the Apostle at all.
DVC p. 231 Jesus possessed a rightful claim to the throne of the King of the Jews . . . More than 80 gospels were considered for the New Testament . . . The Bible . . . was collated by the pagan Roman Emperor Constantine the Great.”
Isis II ( 155) ...he (Basilides) published twenty-four volumes of Interpretations upon the Gospels, all of which were burned, a fact which makes us suppose that they contained more truthful matter than the school of Irenaeus was prepared to deny. He asserted that the unknown, eternal, and uncreated Father having first brought forth Nous, or Mind, the latter emanated from itself - the Logos. This is preeminently a kabalistic idea. It is still more Buddhistic.

DVC p. 232 Catholic rituals such as communion were taken from earlier pagan religions.
Isis II ( 51) “As a political exigence the (church) Fathers had - to gratify the wishes of their rich converts - instituted even the festivals of Pan. They went so far as to accept the ceremonies hitherto celebrated by the Pagan world in honor of the God of the gardens, in all their primitive sincerity.
DVC p. 233 The Council of Nicea had to establish Christ’s divinity in order to unify the Roman Empire. Jesus became a divinity beyond the scope of humans, whose power was unchallengeable.
DVC p. 234 The earlier gospels were outlawed and burned. The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947-1950's near Qumran. The Coptic scrolls came from Nag Hammadi in 1945.
Isis II (p.51) “Either the Pagan worship and the Neo-platonic theurgy, with all ceremonial of magic, must be crushed out forever, or the Christians become Neo-platonists.”

DVC p. 246 The gospel of Philip refers to Christ kissing Magdalene on her “mouth”. Teabing points to other passages that suggest a romantic relationship ( where Brown says “mouth,” Pages shows the word in the text is missing).
DVC p. 247 The gospel of Mary shows Jesus entrusted her with his teachings.
Pistis Sophia Mary Magdalene and John, the virgin, will tower over all my disciples. (p. 233)
DVC p. 249 The Holy Grail (of the Templars) is the chalice that held the blood of Christ or literally Mary Magdalene’s womb that carried the bloodline of Christ.
Isis II (382)...the ancient Templars...true aim was the restoration of the primitive secret C worship. The true version of the history of Jesus...imparted to Hugh de Payens by .... Nazarenes...
DVC p. 254 The church fought back by naming Magdalene a whore and buried evidence of her marriage. (But the label “whore” did not occur until about 500 years later.)
DVC p. 258 Godefroi de Bouillon...ordered the Knights Templar to recover the Sangreal documents from beneath Solomon’s Temple...
DVC p. 261 Langdon spoke about works by Bernini, Mozart and Victor Hugo to restore the sacred feminine. The opera, “The Magic Flute” is filled with Masonic symbolism and grail secrets. Disney was in the same vein.
DVC p. 266 ...the church has killed to protect itself.
DVC p, 267-8 The Priory history has always included a plan to unveil the secret....this would be a symbolically apt time (Pisces to Aquarian Age).
DVC p. 316 The church accused the Templars of secretly praying to Baphomet which used the symbol of the head of a goat. This symbolized the creative magic of sexual union, but the Pope said it was the devil.

DVC p. 389 Many great composers and writers, such as Mozart, Beethoven, Shakespeare, Wagner, Gershwin, Houdini and Disney were all Free Masons.
